When I first got Red, I was upset about why they had to pair a book to the figure. I was only into the toy last time. Now, how things have changed! I'm more into the book than the toy! (Don't take me wrong. The toy is well made.) It's a change within. I'm into the manga much more now.
So, back to Blue. This time the theme is army. The funny parts are funny as usual. Arakawa's sense of humour is awesome!
Didn't know there are so much more about the army uniform design. She really knows her stuff. Everything has a practical purpose which makes the finished design so believable.
Then the members of the Mustang team. Like last time, I'm not sure about the facial analysis. (Well it's supposed to be a joke anyway.) The dog/pocket watch hunting game isn't well thought out. I hit a dead end at #31 the first time, and never tried again.
The psychological test games says I'm "Havoc" type. "Better at following commands then giving". Seems to be dead on. Haha...
The 10 pages of Mustang-and-Hughues-in-Ishbal special manga at the end is the most "worthy" part of the book. It's only available here. The one from Red turn into scanlate very soon, but this one is still not available.
It's long expired, but Blue comes with a coupon that, together with the one from Red, gets you Black. I though Black would be in the same format (book + figure) at the time when Red came out. But it ended up as 3 pins. I wonder what happened...
Anyway, I'm really happy to be able to get a copy of Blue. Thanks so much again, Forest Cat and JH~! (^_^)
