Flammel's cross

So, this is where Arakawa's design is from. See Flammel's Hieroglyphics (scroll down). I've always wondered what that weird cross with a snake is. Though, I can't understand the article completely. It's not too reader-friendly. And even after reading it, I still don't know what this image means! Aaaargh!

And this one might be the source of the double dragons design. Actually it's one dragon and one Griffin.

Anyway, the illustrations were from a book Flammel acquired, which seemed to be a copy of the original Book of Abraham.

More Nicholas Flammel on Wikipedia.

Don't take me wrong. I wasn't digging around for alchemy web sites. The target was online shopping sites. I was just researching on the price of Flammel's cross necklaces. Just stumbled across this and sidetracked.
