Guess I didn't search carefully enough last time. Here's the official sterling silver pocket watch from Animate. It's over $200, very expensive. (Well, I guess if it's silver...) Comes with a State Alchemist certificate and a date sticker. What? The date isn't engraved inside the lid? That's a rip off!
On the other hand, there's a plastic version for cosplay props. Not cheap, though. It's around $30. It says the lid won't open. Seems like it's just a chunk of solid plastic.

It's not a ripoff to not have a date inside. If I were to buy it, I would want an alchemist's watch, not Edward Elric's personal watch.
But even bootlegs have the engraving!
