Shamballa was on YTV tonight!

... and I didn't know it. (T_T) Got home late. By the time I sat down and turn the TV on, nothing good was on the listing. It was around 8:03. Didn't feel like watching, but I was just curious which episode Eureka Seven was at. So, YTV East it was.

... Huh? That's... Al??? In human form??? And Ed too???

Yikes!! It's Shamballa!!!!!

Why did the listing say Eureka Seven, then?!?! (Took the first photo for proof.)

... OK I see. The movie went overtime, while the listing fills in the blocks at 30-minute intervals precisely. And you can't go backwards on the time line to find out what was playing. Sometimes they indicate the actual start time. But not this time.

So, only caught the last 10 minutes or so. (T_T) Thought YTV would advertise more on such a popular show, but there hasn't been anything. OK to be be fair, I haven't been watching for over a week. The most I get has been noises from the TV behind a wall when my nieces come over. Seems like I just haven't been able to "catch" it.

If the movie ends at 8, the start time should be around 6 or 6:30. As expected, YTV West started another Shamballa at 9, which lasted until 11. With the 15 minutes over time, that's a total of 135 minutes. According to the Japanese Wikipedia, the movie is 105 minutes. This means, a warping 30 minutes of commercials!!! Yikes!!!

One weird thing. While Shamballa was showing on YTV West, there seemed to be a regular episode on YTV East between 10 and 10:30. Oooow... too bad I completely missed it. I haven't been able to catch the Monday to Thursday showings either. Maybe I was watching at the wrong time, but the show seems to have disappeared from the real time listing. (And I'm too lazy to check YTV's site.) Oh well, adding the "Monday to Thursday chunk" apart from Friday is confusing, and kind of screwed up, don't you think? 4 : 1. It's gonna catch up fast!

Got "homework" to do, so I had to stop shortly after 10. (T_T) Didn't watch the whole thing. (Don't have much patience for commercials, but I still want to watch just for support.) And seeing the movie on TV kind of feels.... hmm, not sure how to describe this feeling....
